The fear of God should be the only fear in our lives. Proverbs 9:10. Once we have a holy and reverent fear toward the Lord, no other worldly fear can touch us. What anxiety can overtake you when you are full of devotion to God?

When we are filled with the fear of God, all other fears are displaced. Once a sponge is saturated with water, its pores are full and it cannot absorb more. Similarly, once our lives are filled with the fear of the Lord, His love will saturate us and leave no space for worldly fear.

Immerse yourself in God’s Word and seek His wisdom. Pray that the Holy Spirit teaches you the fear of the Lord. Then be still, and know that HE is God. Psalm 46:10. Know that no fear can touch you. If God is on your side, who or what could possibly be against you? Romans 8:31.
