A spiritual person is a strong person. We are strong because we are created in the image of God and to His likeness. God is strong, so being a son or daughter of God, we should be strong in spirit as well. The strong person receives strength from the Holy Spirit that works in him.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you” (Acts 1:8)
The strength of a spiritual person is from God himself. As the Psalmist says, “The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation” (Ps. 118:14). As far as all things are possible for God, the spiritual man should not suffer from despair, collapse or become faint-hearted. Because with faith, we becomes strong from within.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13)
